• how much of your own gold you have to contribute 
• Budget and sentiment — we’ll always discuss your budget comfort zone, the sentimental value of the piece, and whether the remodel feels worthwhile from a practical and financial point of view

Everyone Visualises Differently

One of the biggest factors to ensure your going to love your piece is “how” you like to see your jewellery come to life.

Some clients say, “I’m happy with whatever you decide” — and for me, the design is already alive in my mind. I can picture exactly how it will look and bring it straight to the bench.

Other clients love the idea of seeing every detail in advance. That might mean a full 3D CAD render, or even a wax model they can hold, touch, and try on before we go ahead.

We can cater to both approaches — but naturally, the more detailed the pre-visualisation process, the more steps (and people) are involved, and that can  impact price.  Ins paying that I have many tricks up my sleeve to assist you with  isiuqkksing your new piece because the very last thing I’d want is for us to not be on the same page.  That’s why we always talk it through with you first and decide together how much visualisation you need to feel comfortable and excited.

Trust Is Everything

At Leskes Jewellers, we’ve been doing this a long time, and one thing I’ll always promise is honesty. If your redesign is simple — like changing a setting, lowering a stone, or adding a different style of claws — I’ll be straight up and tell you I don’t see the point in spending extra money on a full drawing or CAD design. I don’t want you wasting your money.

That said, the decision is always yours. If you’d feel more comfortable including certain steps, like a CAD render or wax model, we can absolutely do that. But rest assured, my priority is always to do what’s best for you — and you can trust that you’re in expert hands.
